Ingredients
50 g | water |
500 g or a large handful | of fresh spinach, washed, any tough stalks removed |
30 g | butter |
Salt & Pepper to taste | |
Grated parmesan cheese (optional) |
Preparation
- Place water, salt, pepper and spinach into mixing bowl and cook 8-10 minutes, at 100ºC on speed 2, using the spatula to push down the leaves at first.
- Drain the spinach thoroughly in a colander (you can save the liquid for stock if desired).
- Place drained spinach and butter into mixing bowl and cook 1 minute, at 100ºC on speed1.
- Mix 20 seconds on speed 3 until a creamy consistency. Season to taste. Serve sprinkled with parmesan if using.
